British Library Centre for Conservation

Construction of the Centre for Conservation was completed in December 2006 on time and to budget. Following a short period of moving in equipment and staff, the Centre became fully operational in March 2007.
Visitors to the Centre can view a new exhibition uncovering conservation as well as joining behind the scenes tours and practical workshops.
The first year-long book conservation
internship is also underway, funded by the
Heritage Lottery Fund. We are grateful to
all our donors whose support has made
this project possible.
