Overview

The British Library’s Strategy for the English Regions and the Home Nations.

A key element of the British Library’s regional strategy is that our national offer will be implemented through a Library-wide regional programme across the English regions and the Home Nations. It will be delivered in collaboration with a range of national and regional partners.

This strategy recognises and builds on the Library's existing activities across the UK and focuses on its target markets: the researcher, the general public, business and the learner.

The offer for the English regions and the Home Nations is built around five strategic strands: content, access, sharing skills, adding value and communication.

If you have a question about the strategy or about the Library’s activities across the UK, please contact us at: regions@bl.uk
