Americas

Collection Areas | Online Guides and Resources | Further Information

The aim of the American Collections is to acquire publications of research interest in the fields of the humanities and social sciences from Canada, the United States, Central and South America, and the Caribbean. We also acquire material published by international and intergovernmental organizations.

The American Collections webpages provide further information on these printed collections. In addition, these pages offer an overview of the range of American material available across the Library in all formats. You can also find out more about the highlights of the collections.

Further guides to U.S. and American materials can be found at the Eccles Centre for American Studies.
