Chino Otsuka

Chino Otsuka, a fine art photographer, is the Pearson Creative Research Fellow for 2007-2008. She will be based within the Learning team at the British Library for a year and, during that time, will be delving into the collections and sharing her findings through creative projects and workshops with young people.

Chino was born in Japan and came to Britain at the age of 10. This unique autobiographical experience is explored, by way of self-portraits, in many of her works.

While at the Library, Chino ran a Young Researchers project with students from Goldsmiths University.  You can read more about (BA)d (ED)ucation on our projects page.
