Taking Liberties Private View

Teachers are invited to a private view of this winter's exhibition, Taking Liberties: the struggle for Britain’s freedoms and rights. This will take place on:

Wednesday 12th November 2008, 6.30-8.30pm at the British Library, 96 Euston Road, London NW1 2DB

The exhibition will reveal the history behind the liberties most of us now take for granted. It will examine the struggle of Britain’s subjects and citizens to win political freedoms and rights over the course of more than 900 years.

The Private View will give you the chance to see the exhibition, get a taster session of the free workshops and explore online resources.

Booking is essential as places are limited.
