Workshop outline
How are ideas organised? How can we find things once we have put them away? How do we classify knowledge? This interactive performance is guaranteed to spark discussion and ideas. Hosted at your school or organisation, the performance opens debate about how we organised, catalogue and categorise knowledge.
Two actors lead the performance - one playing a 'librarian', the other a 'blank piece of paper'! The librarian begins by discussing classification and suggests that all knowledge can be organised neatly. The 'blank piece of paper' then appears and challenges students to think beyond simple ways of categorisation. Throughout the performance, the audience will be asked to make decisions, give opinions and take part in the action.
