British Library appoints two new department heads

The British Library is pleased to announce the appointment of Jackie Marfleet as Head of Reference & Research and Tony Llewelyn as Head of Scientific, Technical and Medical Information.
Jackie Marfleet will be responsible for leading the development and provision of the British Library's free and priced reference and research services for academic researchers, companies and individual entrepreneurs. She joins the Library from JP Morgan where she worked for nine years as a Vice President within Investment Banking Operations, as well as Manager of the Business Research Centre. With more than 15 years management experience, Jackie was also Head of Information Services at management consultancy KPMG.
Tony Llewelyn will lead the Library's strategy for science and business information, which is a critical new role within the Library. Tony has extensive international experience in information and publishing. Before joining the British Library he was Managing Director of CAB International (Commonwealth Agricultural Bureaux non-for profit information and research membership organisation for life sciences.) He has also held senior marketing roles at Reed Elsevier, John Wiley and Academic Press.
