The Boston Spa site in Yorkshire, home of our document supply service and many of the British Library's administrative functions, is not generally open to the public. Its small reading room is open for use at the following times:

• Monday to Friday 09.00 to 16.30
• Weekends and English public holidays: Closed

Advanced notice of your reading room visit is normally required.

Occasionally a small number of public events, including evening talks, is also on offer.

We will be closed during the following periods:
