Open Days
British Library Newspapers holds a series of Open Days, which include
a tour of the departments and an opportunity to meet staff. Readers,
potential readers, and other interested librarians or researchers
are welcome.
All Open Days begin at 14.00 and last for about two hours.
To reserve a place, which must be booked in advance,
please contact
us with your name, postal address, and the name of your organisation
or library, if applicable.
Special Group Tours
British Library Newspapers is always willing to consider arranging
Special Group Tours for library and information services staff,
family history societies, media personnel, or other interested parties.

Guest speakers
Occasionally British Library Newspapers is able to provide a guest
speaker to address academic and other specialist groups. These typically
include university departments of library and information studies,
media studies, or journalism, as well as other relevant groups and
conferences. The speakers normally talk about the Library, its collections
