British Library tours at St Pancras

Public tours

Guided tours of the public areas of the building (not including the Reading Rooms) take place on:

  • Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 15.00
  • Saturday at 10.30 and 15.00

Tours that include one of the Library’s Reading Rooms take place on:

  • Sunday & English public holidays at 11.30 and 15.00

They cost £8.00 per person (£6.50 concessions).

Book

Bookings may be made up to two weeks in advance and are limited to nine tickets per transaction.

New tour – Behind the scenes tours of the conservation studios in the British Library Centre for Conservation now available.

The British Library welcomes visitors with disabilities. Disabled visitors wishing to join a tour of the building should contact Visitor Services in advance.

Group tours

Group tours, which can be arranged for a minimum of 10 and a maximum 30 people, are available on:

  • Tuesday and Thursday at 10.30 and 14.30
