'Behind the Scenes Tours' of Conservation Studios

See the work of conservation on a 'behind the scenes' tour of the studios in the new Centre for Conservation. The tours, led by British Library conservators, give an insight into the techniques used to care for our collections.

Please allow yourself time to leave any coats and bags either in the cloakroom or lockers which are on the lower ground floor of the main Library building. Tours leave from the Information Desk in the Entrance Hall.

Please note: The tours are not suitable for young children due to the types of tools and equipment in use in the studios.

Event time: Every Thursday, 14.00 -15.00
Price: Free, advance booking recommended.
For future bookings please contact: +44(0)1937 546546.
