The copyright of the thesis lies with the author or university to which it was submitted, as appropriate. Unless covered by an exception in national law any reproduction of the work requires permission from the rightsholder. Any use of the thesis in line with an exception in national law, such as fair dealing, criticism and review, or answering an examination question requires you where practicable to acknowledge the author of the work.

Some universities require the reader to sign a copyright undertaking Thesis Declaration Form - TDF before being allowed access to specific theses - see list of participating universities. If you do not send a completed TDF with your order, you will be notified if one is required. Please note that theses requiring a completed TDF are supplied for the personal use of the individual named on the form. They may not be added to library collections.
