Details of publication-specific copyright fees are included as appropriate. A default fee of £5.00 per item applies to certain other titles that are not included in the listing, e.g. conference proceedings and monographs. A fee of £0.00 applies to all items published over 100 years ago, plus certain material for which the rightsholder has set a fee of £0.00.

Please note: the copyright fees displayed on the Current Serials Received file are indicative only. The actual fee charged is that which is on our internal system at the time the copy is made. This may vary slightly because of currency fluctuations and in a few cases may be updated during the quarter. We will do our utmost to keep such changes to a minimum but occasionally we may have to make changes for reasons that are outside our direct control.

To use any of the our Document Supply services you must fill out a customer registration form. If you have only an occasional need for documents, you can order through British Library Direct Order Form and use our services without registering. There are a number of ways you can order documents via the Web.

Key

SHELFMARK- indicates the location of holdings within our Document Supply collection. When requesting items, it is helpful to quote shelfmarks if known.

INSIDE FLAG - the symbol I indicates that the journal is listed in British Library Inside. These journal titles are subject to a loan ban for 26 weeks following arrival at the British Library.

Publication-specific COPYRIGHT FEE- we charge a publication-specific copyright fee when you tell us such a fee applies to your order. See our Copyright and Document Delivery page for full information on when a copyright fee must be paid. All copyright fees are displayed in Pounds Sterling and we pass all copyright fees to the Copyright Licensing Agency for distribution to rightsholders worldwide.

• A FEE of £0.00 indicates that the title is zero-rated, but the normal terms and conditions for the supply of copyright fee paid copies still apply.
• Where CLAX (copyright licensing agency exempt), appears in the Copyright Fee column, our licence does not permit us to supply a copyright fee paid copy. However, CLAX items are available via our loan service and via the Library Privilege service to those living in the UK or Ireland.

TITLE - the titles in this list are in alphabetical order, with the following exceptions:

Bulletins, Journals, Reports, etc., of Societies, Institutions, etc., are listed before periodicals having distinctive titles commencing 'Bulletin', 'Journal', etc., thus:

Journal - Irish Dental Association comes before
Journal (of) Bacteriology

Certain Oriental serials are listed under their English title only, for example

Yakugaku Zasshi is listed as
Journal Pharmaceutical Society of Japan

A periodical is only listed under its current title although in many cases stock is also held under earlier forms of the title. Shelfmarks against titles are those for Document Supply collection. This list only contains those titles to which we currently subscribe. In addition to the titles listed here, we hold over 300,000 non-current journal titles.
