The British Library Shop has recently been expanded to cater for
a growing range of gifts, including bags, stationery, chocolate
and a wider selection of exhibition merchandise.
We are open seven days a week, and can be found on the Ground Floor
near the entrance.

We stock an extensive range of books, particularly focusing on
areas relevant to the Library, including history, our Treasures
and exhibitions-related literature. We also stock postcards, educational
materials, multimedia titles and a wide range of audio CDs covering
famous events in history, authors reading their own material and
wildlife recordings from our Sound Archive.
Currently we have a special display of shortlisted books
for the Duncan Lawrie and Dagger in the Library awards
for crime fiction. The announcement by the Crime Writers' Association
was made in the Library on 3 June. Shown above are the Dagger in
