Donations and grants make a massive difference to what the British Library can achieve. Without such support we would not have been able to recently acquire the Harold Pinter archive or the Wardington Hours, nor would we have been able to build the Conservation Centre or mount the enormously successful Sacred: Discover What We Share exhibition.
