How to join the Friends
You can join the Friends by calling us on 020 7412 7734 or posting our membership form with your annual subscription to the Friends Team. If paying by direct debit, which considerably reduces our administrative costs, current rates are as follows:
Standard membership £35
Joint membership £50
Concessions* £25
Joint concessions* £35
Companies £550
Registered charities £110
* Students/unwaged/under 25/60 or over/BL staff
You can also pay by cheque, charity voucher or credit/debit card – if so, please add an extra £5 to the rates above. You are welcome to make a donation to the Friends of the British Library online.
